ROVE & WARD Warranty Policy

At ROVE & WARD, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Our bags and travel goods are designed for dependable everyday use and travel.

All eligible ROVE & WARD products purchased directly from roveward.com are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, beginning on the original date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage

Our 1-Year Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur under normal and intended use.

Depending on the product, covered defects may include:

  • Defective stitching or seams

  • Zipper failure caused by a manufacturing defect

  • Defective buckles, clasps, snaps, or other hardware

  • Handle or shoulder-strap attachment failure resulting from defective workmanship

  • Structural defects caused by faulty materials or construction

  • Defects in trolley handles or wheels on applicable rolling luggage

  • Other verified defects in materials or workmanship

If an eligible product is determined to have a covered manufacturing defect during the warranty period, ROVE & WARD may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace the affected component, replace the product, or provide another appropriate warranty solution at no additional product cost to the customer.

Natural Leather Characteristics

Many ROVE & WARD products are made from genuine cowhide, top-grain, full-grain, vegetable-tanned, crazy-horse, or other natural leather materials.

Natural leather is unique, and variations may occur from one product to another.

The following are considered normal characteristics of genuine leather and are not considered manufacturing defects:

  • Variations in grain and texture

  • Natural wrinkles or creases

  • Minor scars or markings

  • Slight variations in color or tone

  • Changes in color resulting from use

  • Development of a natural patina

  • Minor surface marks associated with natural leather

  • Changes caused by normal aging and conditioning

These characteristics are part of the natural appearance and aging process of genuine leather.

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or deterioration that does not result from a defect in materials or workmanship.

Examples of items not covered include:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Scratches, scuffs, stains, or discoloration from ordinary use

  • Natural leather grain, markings, wrinkles, or color variations

  • Patina or changes in leather appearance over time

  • Damage caused by water, rain, excessive moisture, or prolonged humidity

  • Damage caused by excessive heat or prolonged direct sunlight

  • Damage caused by chemicals, alcohol, detergents, improper leather cleaners, or unsuitable conditioning products

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning or maintenance

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or improper handling

  • Damage caused by overpacking or exceeding the reasonable capacity of the bag

  • Damage caused by carrying unusually heavy, sharp, or improperly stored objects

  • Damage caused by airlines, airports, transportation providers, hotels, or other third parties

  • Damage to personal belongings stored or transported inside the product

  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or third-party marketplaces unless otherwise expressly stated

The warranty does not guarantee that leather, hardware, wheels, zippers, or other components will remain cosmetically unchanged throughout the life of the product.

Airline and Transportation Damage

Damage caused while a bag is in the possession of an airline, airport, courier, hotel, transportation provider, or other third party is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by this Limited Warranty.

If your luggage or travel bag is damaged during transportation, we recommend reporting the damage directly to the responsible carrier as soon as possible.
